When I began work as a casting director in New York City - eager to meet actors - I taught cold reading seminars at The Actors Connection, One on One and The
Creative Acting Company. By incorporating my teaching, acting and casting experience, I was able to create a unique method for auditioning to which actors quickly
responded. My technique has grown out of extensive experience in both sides of the business - acting and casting. My direction, coaching and anecdotes have proven to be extremely effective for many actors. I teach actors working in film, theatre and television to address a scene or a monologue quickly but carefully, and to make clear, precise and creative choices in the audition process. I also offer career consultations for actors at all stages of their careers. |
